They are all in a central location in Kaprun in Salzburg’s Pinzgau, directly on the Romantic Road and the Tauern Cycle Path. Your four-legged friends are very welcome during your vacation at the Häusllodge. Directly behind the Häusllodge apartment is the start of the beautiful walking path in the direction of the Tauern Spa. From there you turn left between fields into the Brunnwiesenweg and then right into the Filzmooswäldchen. At the end of the small wood (along the Kapruner Moor) you reach a small playground. Afterwards, the route continues below Kaprun Castle next to the cycle path back to the Häusllodge apartment. This entire round has a route length of about 4.8 km.

Even in winter, the hiking trails are cleared, so you can go on extended hikes with the dog all year round.

Do not forget: Dogs on vacation in Austria must have an EU pet passport, a valid rabies vaccination and a microchip with identification.

Visiting the Häusllodge apartments during the cold season? Then look forward to an unforgettable winter holiday on and off the piste! The stop for the ski bus is a mere 200 metres from the apartments and it is also just a few minutes’ walk to the Maiskogelbahn ski lift. The ski bus will take you to other pistes, lifts and ski schools in the region in a jiffy too. The cross-country slopes are even closer – they run right next to the apartments and provide you with direct access to Nordic Skiing fun.

When you and your nearest and dearest return to your holiday home in the evening you can store your skis, snowboards and cross-country shoes in the ski room, which has a ski shoe dryer. This means you are ready for a new winter adventure in Kaprun in Salzburger Land the very next day.

During a holiday in Kaprun in the summer you can look forward to an all-round holiday package consisting of mountains, glaciers and lakes. This means it is easy to make your holiday days variety-packed. How about a tour on the Tauern Cycle Path? It runs right past the Häusllodge apartments.
